DWI Checkpoint Set For Point Pleasant Beach
The Ocean County Prosecutor's Office announced the checkpoint to look for drivers who are impaired by alcohol or drugs.
POINT PLEASANT BEACH, NJ — Authorities will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint in Point Pleasant Beach on Saturday night, the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office announced.
The checkpoint is set for 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. Sunday on Route 35 south, Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer said.
The prosecutor's office and Point Pleasant Beach police will be screening drivers for signs of impairment.

“If you see someone you believe is posing a hazard because of poor driving behaviors, please dial #77 from a hands-free mobile device to contact the aggressive driver tip line and make a report," the prosecutor said.
Authorities urge people calling to be prepared to give a description of the vehicle and occupants, a location and direction, and a license plate if possible.
