Easter Egg Hunt Postponed In Point Pleasant

POINT PLEASANT, NJ — The free Easter Egg Hunt for Point Pleasant borough children has been postponed, borough officials announced.

The event now is scheduled for April 1 at Community Park, corner of Beaver Dam Road and Bridge Avenue. Borough officials said the anticipated rainy weather and the already soaked field prompted the postponement.

The event is for children up to 10 years old, with staggered start times:

• 11 a.m.: Parent and me, for children under age 2
• 11:10 a.m.: Children 2-4 years old
• 11:20 a.m.: Children 5-6 years old
• 11:30 a.m.: Children 7-10 years old

Bring a basket for Easter eggs and a camera for photos with the Easter Bunny. Children should only participate during their 10-minute age group.

Check the eggs for prizes before you leave the park.
