Easter Egg Hunts Rescheduled In Point Boro, Point Beach

The weekend forecast has prompted both towns to reschedule their Easter Egg hunts.

POINT PLEASANT and POINT PLEASANT BEACH, NJ — The forecast for heavy rain and temperatures in the 30s on Saturday has prompted officials in Point Pleasant and Point Pleasant Beach to reschedule their respective Easter Egg hunts.

In Point Pleasant Borough, the Easter Egg Hunt and activities at Community Park now are set for Tuesday, March 26, town officials said.

The Easter Bunny will be on hand for photos and the new times for children to participate are as follows:

  • 6 p.m.: Parent and child
  • 6:05 p.m.: 2-4 years old
  • 6:10 p.m.: 5-6 years old
  • 6:15 p.m.: 7-10 years old

In Point Pleasant Beach, the Easter Egg Hunt now is set for Saturday, March 30, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Pleasure Park, corner of Forman and St. Louis avenues.

You must register your child in advance to participate. Registration can be completed on the Point Pleasant Beach Recreation Committee's website. The event is free.
