You don't have to go to NY to hear opera's rising stars! Join us for an afternoon of beloved opera arias performed by three talented young artists from the Academy of Vocal Arts in Philadelphia. Award-winning performers Ethel Trujillo (soprano) and Ryan Wornall (bass) will take the stage with Angel Raii Gomez (tenor), who joins the Metropolitan Opera for two productions this year. Accompanying them on piano is Maestro Richard Rauch.The afternoon begins at 4 p.m. with an informal reception, followed by the concert at 5 p.m. Tickets are $18 per adult (and complimentary for music lovers younger than 18). Tickets can be purchased at the door (cash, check, and credit card accepted) or online in advance.
