Elks In The Park

Thank You Point Pleasant Borough

To All Our Loyal Patrons and Friends:

We, the members of the Point Pleasant Elks want to thank you for all your continued support through the years. It is with your support we have been able to continue our charitable works for Veterans, Children with Special Needs, and for our community through our scholarship programs, Thanksgiving Dinner, and programs to assist those in need.

As you may know the Mayor and Council of Point Pleasant Beach voted not to issue us a social affairs permit for this year’s Festival of the Sea on Saturday, September 15th, an event we have participated in for over 20 years and has been our largest fundraiser each year.

Mayor Sabosik of Point Pleasant Borough, together with Town Council and the Chamber of Commerce immediately stepped in to help us. Their kindness and generosity have been overwhelming. They and the Chief of Police, the Department of Public Works, and a great many public employees and members of the Chamber of Commerce have been working with us side by side to make “Elks in the Park” a success. This event will showcase what can be accomplished when we all Work Together As A Team.

There are not enough ways to say Thank You and express our gratitude to Mayor Sabosik, the Town Council, the Chamber of Commerce, and all the Volunteers for all their help and unending support.

We invite our loyal patrons and friends, and new friends we looking forward to meeting, to join us on Saturday, September 15th for “Elks in the Park” open from 11:00am until 6:00pm. We will only be 600 feet down the road from the festival – away from the crowds in a welcoming family friendly setting where you can simply relax and enjoy the day. Come sit under a tent, eat and drink reasonably priced food and beverages, watch the children play, and enjoy the live music.

Thank you again Mayor Sabosik, the Town Council, the Chamber of Commerce, and the countless number of volunteers and supporters for all they have done and continue to do for the Point Pleasant Elks Lodges #1698. You truly HELP US to HELP OTHERS.

Sincerely,

THE MEMBERS OF POINT PLEASANT ELKS LODGE #1698
