The Ocean County Library, working with the NJWorks@yourlibrary initiative, is hosting these classes at the Pt. Pleasant Borough branch, as well as other branches in the library system.  NJWorks@yourlibrary is a campaign developed by the New Jersey State Library, to showcase the resources and opportunities being offered through the Broadband Technology Opportunity Program (BTOP) grant received by the New Jersey State Library.

All classes are aimed at improving an individual’s ability to use computers during their job search.  The content is all customized to the job search effort.  Sessions will cover topics such as an online job search, self-assessment, resume writing, employment applications, interviewing techniques, along with familiarity in the key computer applications that go hand in hand with each topic, i.e. web search engines (Google, etc.), using MS Explorer and MS Word.
