Get Your Child's Car Seat Checked In Point Pleasant

The Point Pleasant Police Department is offering the chance to have your child's car seat checked to make sure it's installed properly.

POINT PLEASANT, NJ — Point Pleasant police will be performing child safety seat inspections on Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Nearly half of all car seats are installed incorrectly, according to federal officials. The Point Pleasant Police Department has officers who are certified child passenger safety technicians, and they will be available to check seats.

Sgt. Josh Gunnell and Officer Jeffrey Johnson will check out your child's seat and help you make adjustments to ensure the maximum safety of your child.

The checks will be performed in the front parking lot of the Point Pleasant Police Department, 2233 Bridge Ave.
