POINT PLEASANT BEACH, NJ — With Halloween almost here, the Point Pleasant Beach Police Department has issued a reminder about the borough's curfew during the spooky season.

Through 7 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 1, children under age 18 are not permitted to be on the streets from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. unless they are accompanied by a parent or guardian, or coming to or from school, work, organized sports or a religious function.

On Halloween, there is no set start time for trick-or-treating, but children who are out past 7 p.m. will need a parent or guardian with them.
