Halloween Trick-Or-Treating Curfew In Point Pleasant

Heading out to collect treats? Here are reminders from the Point Pleasant Police Department.

POINT PLEASANT, NJ — If you are heading out with your children for trick-or-treating, the Point Pleasant Police Department is reminding people to be safe.

Point Pleasant has a 9 p.m. curfew for those under age 17, unless they are accompanied by a parent or guardian. The curfew ends Tuesday.

Trick-or-treaters are encouraged to go in groups and parents should accompany young children.

Encourage your kids to trick-or-treat while it's still light out, and to bring a flashlight and stick to well-lit streets after dark.

Do not go inside anyone's home and do not accept any rides from strangers.

Drivers are reminded to exercise extreme caution and be alert to the possibility of children darting into the street.
