Holiday Lights Adds Car Decor Contest In Point Pleasant Beach
Deck your cars with bows and lights and compete for best-decorated vehicle while you vote for best holiday lights in Point Pleasant Beach.
POINT PLEASANT BEACH, NJ — The Point Pleasant Beach Recreation Committee has added a twist to the Holiday Lights public voting celebration: A best-decorated vehicle competition.
The goal is to allow everyone to be involved by encouraging friendly competition among the voters, the committee said.
On Dec. 18, decorate your vehicle, dress in festive attire and head to the Arnold Avenue parking area near the bandshell to vote for your favorite house.

"A bonus prize will be awarded to the most festive car," the committee said.
The public voting is 5 p.m.-7:30 p.m. on Dec. 18. Public voters must register to vote through the Recreation Committee's new website.

Check in on Dec. 18 is at the Bandshell on Baltimore and Arnold avenues. Participants are asked to bring a non-perishable food item to donate.
