Hydrant Flushing Schedule For Spring Set In Point Pleasant
The hydrant flushing is part of routine maintenance of the town's water lines.
POINT PLEASANT, NJ — The Point Pleasant Water Department will begin the spring water main flushing on April 1, borough officials announced.
The flushing will take place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and will take six weeks, officials said.
Flushing can cause temporary discoloration of the water. Avoid doing laundry while your water is discolored. Let your cold water run until the water clears, usually about 20 seconds.
