Hydrant Flushing On Tap In Point Pleasant Beach
The hydrant flushing is done regularly to help maintain water quality, officials said.

POINT PLEASANT BEACH, NJ — The Point Pleasant Beach Water Department will be flushing its distribution system beginning Monday, borough officials announced.
The flushing will be done from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. on weekdays through May 12, the announcement said.
Residents may experience temporary low pressure or discoloration during the flushing period. Run cold tap water until it clears to rid the discoloration.

"This is part of our continuing effort to deliver the best quality water possible," the water department said. "We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your cooperation."
