Jenkinson's Seeks OK For Storage Building In Point Pleasant Beach
The company is asking the Zoning Board of Adjustment for approval of a storage building and parking at a site away from the boardwalk.
POINT PLEASANT BEACH, NJ — Jenkinson's South is seeking permission from the Point Pleasant Beach Zoning Board of Adjustment to build a storage building with parking on two lots on Broadway.
The application is one of the items on the agenda for Thursday's zoning board hearing, which is set for 7:30 p.m. in the borough council chambers at 416 New Jersey Ave.
Jenkinson's wants to remove a building on the site at 204-206 Broadway and replace it with a 3,600-square-foot single-story warehouse building, according to materials filed with the zoning board. The application does not say how tall the building would be.

The property is in the limited commercial zone, and storage facilities are not an approved use in that zone.
The proposal also includes parking at the site.
