POINT PLEASANT, NJ — After two years of cancellations and modifications, residents in cities and counties across the country are looking forward to many of the traditional Independence Day activities that mark the summer holiday. July 4 is tomorrow, so there’s still time to find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you in 2022.

We have all the fireworks shows, parades and festivals happening in and around Point Pleasant and Point Pleasant Beach so you can plan.

What: Independence Day Fireworks at the Jersey Shore BlueClaws
Where: First Energy Park, Lakewood
When: July 4, after the baseball game
A patriotic fireworks show follows the Jersey Shore BlueClaws game against the Hudson Valley Renegades.

What: Lavallette Patriotic Concert and Fireworks
Where: Lavallette Gazebo, Bay Boulevard
When: 8 p.m. July 3
The borough's patriotic concert and fireworks will fill the air with music and light.

What: Mantoloking Yacht Club Fourth of July Festivities
Where: Mantoloking Yacht Club, 1228 Bay Ave.
When: 8 a.m.-5:30 p.m. July 4

The yacht club is hosting a Fourth of July celebration that is open to the public. There's a 1-mile run to kick off the day, children's games, a flag-raising ceremony, and the day ends with the Henry Barton Memorial sailboat race. The yacht club grill will be open from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
