POINT PLEASANT, NJ — Independence Day is quickly approaching, which means it's time to fire up that barbecue and find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on in and around Point Pleasant for 2023.

What: Jenkinson's Annual 4th Of July Fireworks Spectacular
Where: Boardwalk, Point Pleasant Beach
When: Dusk, July 4

Fourth of July fireworks return to Jenkinson's Boardwalk this summer.

What: Brick SummerFest
Where: Windward Beach Park, Princeton Avenue
When: 6:30 p.m., July 6

The township's popular summer concert series returns and kicks off the Fourth of July weekend with fireworks at the end of the concert by Super TransAm. The SummerFest concert series continues Thursdays with fireworks at the end of the concert.

What: Fireworks Extravaganza at the Jersey Shore BlueClaws
Where: ShoreTown Ballpark, Lakewood
When: July 4, after the baseball game

A patriotic fireworks show follows the Jersey Shore BlueClaws game against the Hudson Valley Renegades.

What: Bay Head July 4 Bicycle Parade
Where: Sacred Heart Church parking lot, 751 Main St., Bay Head
When: 10:30 a.m. July 4

Bay Head Life's Mayor's Wellness Campaign presents 5th Annual 4th of July Bike Parade.
All are welcome to join in a patriotic parade starting at 10:30 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Church parking lot. Riders will be ringing bike bells down Clayton Avenue, Lake Avenue and onto Bridge Avenue to finish in Centennial Park. Award ribbons will be given to the best-decorated bikes, wagons, or golf carts.

What: Mantoloking Yacht Club Fourth of July Festivities
Where: Mantoloking Yacht Club, 1228 Bay Ave.
When: 8 a.m.-5:30 p.m. July 4

The yacht club is hosting a Fourth of July celebration that is open to the public. There's a 1-mile run to kick off the day, children's games, a flag-raising ceremony, and the day ends with the Henry Barton Memorial sailboat race. The yacht club grill will be open from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

What: Lavallette Patriotic Bicycle Parade
Where: President Avenue at the Boardwalk, Lavallette
When: 9 a.m.-11 a.m. July 2

Dress up your bike, scooter or wagon for the Independence Day Patriotic Bike Parade, from President Avenue to New York Avenue. There will be patriotic face painting and tattoos for the kids.

What: Lavallette Patriotic Concert and Fireworks
Where: Lavallette Gazebo, Bay Boulevard
When: 8 p.m. July 2

The borough's patriotic concert and fireworks will fill the air with music and light.

What: Seaside Heights Monday Concert Series: All-American Variety Show
Where: Franklin Avenue Stage, Seaside Heights
When: 7 p.m. July 3

Patriotic music is the theme for the day before the Fourth of July. Come out and enjoy the spirit on the boardwalk.

What: Kites in the Heights
Where: On the beach in Seaside Heights; enter at Carteret Avenue
When: 5 p.m. July 4

Free, kite flying with huge, entertaining kites for the kids. Bring the whole family. Bring your own kite to join in the flying.

Fireworks return to Seaside Heights this summer every Wednesday, but there's a display scheduled for the Fourth of July.
