Lakewood Woman Charged With DWI In Point Pleasant

The woman was charged with eluding and parking in a roadway, police said.

POINT PLEASANT, NJ — A Lakewood woman has been charged with driving while intoxicated in Point Pleasant, police said Monday.

Veronica Ordenana, 27, of Lakewood, was arrested Oct. 30 by Officer Michael Cappello on Oct. 30, Capt. Adam Picca said.

Ordenana was charged with second-degree eluding, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence, careless driving, reckless driving, parking within a roadway, failure to give proper directional signal, obstruction of vision, and failure to comply with instructions of police, Picca said.

Ordenana was released on a complaint summons in accordance with bail reform, pending court.

He did not release the circumstances that led to the eluding charge.
