Lingering Snow Mounds Disrupt Parking Near School In Point Pleasant

Police will be checking the affected streets daily, authorities said.

POINT PLEASANT, NJ — Lingering mounds of snow near Point Pleasant High School have prompted authorities to issue a temporary ban on parking on two streets, Point Pleasant police said.

The temporary parking bans are on Taylor Avenue and Kilkare Parkway, on the north side of the road, police said.

Temporary "No Parking" signs are in place.

The temporary parking restrictions are to ensure the safety of residents and students until the accumulated snow and ice clears, police said.

"The areas under these temporary parking restrictions will be checked daily throughout the restriction’s duration," police said. "We appreciate your understanding and thank you."
