Mark D. Kiefer Of Point Pleasant Dies At 59
Founding owner and partner of Rymar Mechanical Plumbing and Heating

Mark David Kiefer, a lifelong resident of Point Pleasant, died unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2015 at the age of 59.
He was a sensitive, caring, and selflessly devoted father, son, uncle, nephew, brother, and friend. Mark was a kind and gentle soul who took pleasure in the simple things and would give his last penny to a stranger in need. He was a master plumber and a founding owner of Rymar Mechanical Plumbing & Heating with his lifelong friend and partner Patrick Duggan. Mark was passionate about his craft, and he used his exceptional talent to mentor many others in his field.
Mark is survived by his daughters, Victoria Kiefer, Jessica Steele, and Danielle Steele; his sisters, Cheryl Van Ardsdale, Marjorie Kiefer Confenti, and Renee Savage; his brothers-in-law, Marty Van Ardsdale and Michael Confenti; his niece, Nichole Caruso, his nephews, Carl, Justin, and Kevin Van Ardsdale, and Brian and Jason Savage; several great-nieces and nephews; and countless friends. He is preceded in death by his father Carlson Kiefer, and his mother Marjorie Rein.
Visitation will take place from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 2 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Mark’s life. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.pableevertzfuneralhome.com
