Marlene Raplee, Local Realtor, Dies At 74
Services for Point Pleasant resident will be held on Sunday and Monday.

Marlene Raplee, 74, of Point Pleasant, passed away peacefully on April 21, 2016, surrounded by the love of her family.
Born in Brooklyn, Marlene met and married her beloved husband Alan, with whom she had three children.

She spent her career as a Realtor, but her true passion was being a caretaker for her family and friends. Her giving spirit and generosity were larger than life, and she will not be forgotten.
Marlene was predeceased by her parents, her son David in 1999, and her brother James Stewart. She is survived by her husband Alan; daughter Joanne Sutton and husband Don, son Barry Raplee, grandchildren Cheri Granito and Brittany Raplee, and great-grandchildren Owen and Maisy Granito. Marlene also leaves her siblings - Carol Gates and her husband Robert, Janet Stewart, Lynn Gaglione, and Paul Stewart and his wife Maureen; and many loving relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday at the O'Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Road, Brick. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home, followed by burial at Fairview Cemetery in Middletown.
