Nancy M. Walsh, The 'Cookie Lady' At The Antrim School, Dies At 64

Services for Point Pleasant Beach resident will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Nancy M. Walsh, 64, of Point Pleasant Beach passed away on Friday, November 6 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center with her family by her side.

Nancy was born and raised in Newark and lived in Cranford before moving to Point Pleasant Beach in 1989. Nancy worked in the Media Arts Department at Kean University and was a freelance photographer. For the last 15 years she worked at Antrim School and was affectionately known as the “Cookie Lady”. Nancy thoroughly enjoyed spending time and laughing with her family and friends, especially her children. Nancy was predeceased by her parents Frank and Bertha Jesionowski.

She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Bill Walsh, son Billy and daughter Caitlin all of Point Pleasant Beach. Nancy is also survived by a brother and sister-in-law Frank and Barbara Jesionowski, their son Tyler, and numerous cousins.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday November 10 at Orender Family Home for Funerals 2643 Old Bridge Road Manasquan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, November 11 at St. Peter’s Church, Point Pleasant Beach.
