National Safe Boating Week Highlighted on MDW 2018 by USCG AUX

USCG Auxiliary Flotilla 16-07 Held Multiple Events Engaging the Public About Boating Safety.

Point Pleasant Beach, NJ - In honor of National Safe Boating Week, USCG Auxiliary Flotilla 16-07 set up boating safety booths in Ocean County over the Memorial Day Weekend. Below are pictures from the Public Affairs event on Saturday, May 26th at the Stop and Shop in Point Pleasant Beach. Flotilla 16-07 engaged the public about the importance of taking your boating safety course, wearing the proper life jacket and the role of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary in the boating safety mission and local community.

Flotilla 16-07 would like to thank our gracious hosts at the Point Pleasant Beach and Toms River Stop and Shop.

National Safe Boating Week inspires boating safety awareness including wearing a life jacket while out on the water and other ways to prevent boating accidents, and loss of property or life.
