NEW JERSEY – School closings, delayed openings and early dismissals have been called for Thursday because of winter weather in New Jersey.
Patch will be closely monitoring the weather as the state deals with black ice and slippery conditions from snow or a wintry mix on Thursday.

- Lakeland Regional, Wanaque: Delayed start at 8:50 AM
- Link Community School, Newark: Delayed start at 10:00 AM
- Pride Academy Charter School, East Orange: Delayed start at 10:00 AM
- Ringwood Schools, Ringwood: Using delayed opening schedule
- St. Dominic School-Brick, Brick: Delayed start at 9:50 AM
- West Orange School District, West Orange: 90-minute delayed start
