No One Injured In Two-Alarm Fire In Point Pleasant, But Three Cats Died
Home on Miller Road broke out around 9 a.m. Saturday, witnesses say.

A two-story home on Miller Road was badly damaged in a fire that broke out Saturday morning, but none of residents were injured, according to app.com.
Unfortunately, three pet cats died in the blaze, the Point Pleasant First Aid And Emergency Squad Facebook page states.
Neighbors said they first noticed the fire about 9 a.m. They said the homeowners were able to flee the burning house after the fire broke out.

“It was exactly at 9 o’clock because I looked at the clock right when I called 9-1-1,” said Bob Byrnes, who lives directly behind the house on Frances Drive.
Firefighters used a ladder truck to spray water on the roof and second-story of the home.
