A Noble's employee was cited this weekend for selling nicotine products to underaged customers, police said.

The incident happened on Saturday when detectives from Point Pleasant Beach conducted an undercover operation at the Noble's Smoke Shop after receiving multiple complaints from residents, police said.

The complaints dealt with underaged individuals being sold vaping products at that location.

Three undercover personnel were utilized, all of whom were able to purchase vaping products.

As a result of the investigation an employee of Noble's Smoke Shop was charged with three counts of selling nicotine products to persons under the age of 21.
