Some flooding was reported in Point Pleasant Beach as a nor'easter appeared to pick up steam on Wednesday.
The town was experiencing flooding in its "normal" areas, officials said. Point Pleasant Beach schools closed on Thursday.
Please avoid the following roadways: Arnold Avenue between Baltimore and Boston avenues, and Central and Boston avenues.
