One-Woman Show At Point Pleasant Library On Saturday

Actor/teacher Dr. Daisy Century will portray Bessie Coleman, the first African-America woman to become a licensed pilot and the first American to hold an international pilot’s license in a one-woman show at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Point Pleasant branch of the Ocean County Library.

Century will be dressed in an authentic bomber’s jacket, boots and scarf during the presentation. The event is sponsored by the Friends of the Point Pleasant Library.
