Operation "Cuddly Comfort" for Alzheimer's
The Woman's Club of Point Pleasant is purchasing dolls for Alzheimer's patients
The Woman's Club of Point Pleasant has a new, ongoing project called Operation "Cuddly Comfort" that helps female Alzheimer's patients. Our Club is purchasing, dressing and distributing baby dolls to female patients in several Alzheimer's facilities to help with their therapy.
The dolls we have chosen cost $30 each, & have eyes that open and close. Also available is a twin set of dolls that can be purchased for $40.00. At present, we already have a total of 13 dolls.
On June 11th our 1st delivery of 6 dolls with blankets, hats, and clothing (made by one of our members) was made to Leisure Park in Lakewood.
