Peter Howard Beecroft Of Point Pleasant Dies At 54

Peter Howard Beecroft, 54, of Point Pleasant, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2015.

Peter, the fifth child of Betty and Tom Beecroft, was born on October 15, 1960 at Point Pleasant Hospital and graduated from Point Pleasant Borough High School.

Peter, a disabled veteran of the United States Navy, was a proud member of the Tin Can Sailors; the V.F.W. Post 4715; the V.F.W. Post 4715 Color Guard; and the American Legion, Post 310.

Peter was predeceased by his father, Thomas; mother, Elizabeth (Betty); and brothers, Thomas and James. He is survived by his sister, Bonnie (Fred) Feit; his brother, John (Eileen) Beecroft; and his nephews and niece, Philip, Jonathan, James, and Samantha. Peter never had the opportunity to marry the love of his life, his fiancée, Marianne O’Connor of Hackensack.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 24 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road. Interment will take place at the Brig. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown at 11 a.m. on Thursday.
