Pipe Inspections Disrupting Bay Avenue In Point Pleasant
A portion of Burnt Tavern Road is closed as well, Point Pleasant police said.
POINT PLEASANT, NJ — There are two traffic disruptions in Point Pleasant on Thursday, according to alerts from Point Pleasant police.
On Bay Avenue, the Ocean County Road Department is conducting pipe inspections from Route 88 to Bridge Avenue. There are flaggers in place controlling traffic, police said.
There was no estimate of how long that work will take.

On Burnt Tavern Road, utility work is closing the stretch between Buckner and Thomas streets in both directions. There are detours in place until about 3 p.m.
Police urge drivers to plan alternate routes.
