Point Beach Arts Festival Puts Art In 'Beach Party'

The Arts Festival will line Bay Avenue with color and welcomes visitors to celebrate local artists.

POINT PLEASANT BEACH, NJ — Bay Avenue will be filled with colorful items and handmade goods on Thursday as the Point Beach Arts Committee and the Point Pleasant Beach Chamber of Commerce present a Beach Party.

The Beach Party Arts Festival will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Bay Avenue, which will be closed to traffic during the event, officials said. The rain date is July 28.

From ceramicware to linens to clothing to paintings and photographs, the arts festival aims to highlight the works by local artists, crafters and more.

"The Point Beach Arts Committee is dedicated to increasing artistic experiences, appreciation and education to the local community through all artistic mediums," it says on its website.

"Commissioned by the township of Point Pleasant Beach in 2018, the Point Beach Arts Committee highlights our local talents and endeavors to enrich the lives of our residents, business owners and year-round guests with a passion for the arts," officials said.
