John A. Ravally is leaving to take another position.

The Point Pleasant Beach Board of Education has begun the search for a new interim schools superintendent, according to the Ocean Star.
Board President Eileen Laterza said the board will begin interviewing candidates for an interim position soon, since school officials want the new person on board on July 1.
Ravally’s last day in the district is June 30. He is leaving to take a job as superintendent in the Franklin Township school district. He has served as superintendent for both the Point Beach and Bay Head school districts for almost a decade.
