Point Beach Students Honored For Music Talents

POINT PLEASANT BEACH, NJ — The Point Pleasant Beach Board of Education honored several students for their accomplishments in band and chorus.

Two students were named to the All-Shore Chorus, and 12 received honors for band, school district officials said.

Giovanna Florio and Amy Scraggs were selected to the All-Shore Chorus.

The students who earned band honors were:

• Kalena Bing, trumpet. She was named to Region 3 Wind Ensemble, Orchestra and All-Shore Jazz Band, TCNJ Honors Band
• Joshua Cotta, trumpet. Region 3 Symphonic Band, Orchestra and All-Shore Jazz Band
• Logan Gaudette, alto saxophone. All-Shore Jazz Band
• Rebecca Gross, tuba. Region 3 Symphonic Band
• Ethan Harrison. TCNJ Honors Band
• Ethan Jacobson, trumpet. All-Shore Jazz Band, TCNJ Honors Band
• Miranda Lynch, piano. All-Shore Jazz Band
• David Mammano. TCNJ Honors Band
• Kylie McLaughlin. TCNJ Honors Band
• Benjamin Peterson, violin. Region 3 Symphony
• Teofil Rapach, trombone. Region 3 Symphonic Band
• Renee Solina, flute. Region 3 Symphonic Band and Symphony, TCNJ Honors Band
