Point Boro Schools Urge Students To Read, Join Summer Reading Contest

POINT PLEASANT, NJ — The Point Pleasant Borough School District is encouraging students to join in the district's summer reading program, "Oceans of Possibilities."

The program, which is in its 15th year and continues through Aug. 26, encourages positive reading habits while also providing a chance for students to win prizes through the Foundation for Excellence in Education and the district's parent-teacher organizations.

Students participating in the program must fill out their summer reading logs, based on what grade they will be entering in September. All reading must be entered by Aug. 26.

There also is the Reading Bingo that students can join.
