For many students, combining a busy practice and competition schedule with the already hectic schedule of a college freshman would be overwhelming. But for Lauren, who Point Pleasant Borough Schools’ Athletic Director Chris Ferrone refers to as “the consummate student athlete” it’s a welcome challenge, one that’s not much different from her high school experience, according to a release on the district website.

Familiarity and camaraderie with her teammates will be crucial during the long months of training that will see Lauren traveling throughout the tri-state area and beyond.
