POINT PLEASANT, NJ — Thinking about fall leaves already? Point Pleasant Borough's public works department has announced the fall leaf collection schedule.

The schedule is based on your garbage collection zone. A map of the zones can be found here.

  • Section 5A&B – Nov. 1 and Dec. 1
  • Section 4A&B – Nov. 6 and Dec. 8
  • Section 3A&B – Nov. 13 and Dec. 15
  • Section 2A&B – Nov. 16 and Dec. 20
  • Section 1A&B – Nov. 22 and Dec. 27

Leaves are collected by the department twice during the fall, and once each spring. Be sure your leaves are out at the curb prior to the first day of collection in your area. Leaves cannot be put out more than 7 days in advance of your pick up. Leaves may not be placed in the curbline any closer than 10 feet from a storm drain inlet. Violators risk a fine.
