Point Pleasant Beach Firefighters Respond To 2 Fires In One Week

POINT PLEASANT BEACH – Point Pleasant Beach firefighters were busy during Christmas week.

Ocean Fire Company and PPBFC#2 responded to South Wall on Christmas for a residential structure fire.

Upon arrival of the scene, firefighters assisted in throwing ground ladders and setting up crews around the structure to ensure the safety of all firefighters operating on scene.

Earlier in the week, Ocean Fire Company and PPBFC#2 responded to a garbage can on fire on Dec. 22 at the Beach Car Wash.

Crews quickly extinguished the fire and cleared the scene.
