Point Pleasant Beach Officers Promoted, New Officer Hired

The officers took on their new roles ahead of the summer season.

POINT PLEASANT BEACH, NJ — Four Point Pleasant Beach police officers were promoted and a new officer was sworn into the force in the borough last month.

Clinton J. Daniel and Scott A. Nase were promoted to lieutenant and Joseph F. Gippetti and Thomas M. Hayes were promoted to sergeant at the Borough Council meeting, and Korey A. McCormack took the oath to become an officer in the borough.

"I'm looking forward to a great summer," Police Chief Robert J. Kowalewski said. "With all the officers in their new roles we're excited about it and we're ready to go."
