Point Pleasant Beach Police Youth Camp Accepting Applications

POINT PLEASANT BEACH, NJ — The Point Pleasant Beach Police Department is hosting its Police Youth Summer Camp for Point Pleasant Beach children going into 6th, 7th and 8th grades.

It is set for July 18-22, plus July 25 and 26, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at G. Harold Antrim Elementary School.

Campers who apply must be able to attend all seven days and perform rigorous physical activities. Campers also will have to adhere to strict disciplinary policies and the time schedule. They will be supplied T-shirts, shorts and a hat they will need to wear to camp.

Applications are available in the front office at Antrim School or at the Point Pleasant Beach Police Headquarters, 416 New Jersey Ave. They need to be returned to police headquarters by June 6.

The police department will make the final decision on who will attend.
