Point Pleasant Beach Preschool Applications Being Accepted

The program is free for Point Pleasant Beach residents and mixes students with special needs with students without special needs.

POINT PLEASANT BEACH, NJ — The Point Pleasant Beach School District is accepting applications for the 2023-24 preschool class.

The program is free for students whose families live in Point Pleasant Beach, and brings together special needs students and students who do not have special needs together in integrated classrooms.

The classes are from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. for 3-year-olds and from noon to 2:30 p.m. for 4-year-olds at G. Harold Antrim Elementary School. The preschool follows the district's school calendar.

Transportation must be provided by parents and students must be toilet-trained. Children must be at least 3 years old by Oct. 1, 2023 to be eligible.

If there are more applications than spaces available, the district will hold a lottery. Applications are being accepted until March 5, 2023. Applications are available online or in the Child Study Team office in the administration building at 299 Cooks Lane.

You must provide proof of residency when you submit the application, with a current deed or lease along with a utility bill, tax bill, or a paystub showing the address.
