Point Pleasant Beach Schools Set Delayed Opening Monday

The district said schools are closed as work to clear roads and make bus stops safe for kids continues.

POINT PLEASANT BEACH, NJ — As cleanup from Saturday's blizzard continues, Point Pleasant Beach school district officials have announced schools will have a delayed opening Monday.

"To allow extra time for safe travel, Point Pleasant Beach School District will operate on a 2-hour delayed opening schedule on Monday, January 31, 2022.," Superintendent William Smith said in an announcement on the district website.

The Ocean County Vocational-Technical Schools are closed on Monday as well.
