Point Pleasant Boro Responds To Residential Structure Fire

Emergency personnel responded to a report of a residential structure fire over the weekend in Point Pleasant Boro.

The incident happened at approximately 12:38 a.m. on Sunday when Point Boro EMS, along with Point Pleasant Fire Department Station 75, responded to a report of a residential structure fire in the community, according to authorities.

It wasn't immediately clear where the incident took place, and what happened. Patch will have more details as they become available.

Members of Point Boro EMS and the Emergency Service Unit (ESU) established a staging and firefighting rehabilitation area with the agency's tent. Ambulances 357 and 358 responded to the scene along with Rescue 355 and 359.

Point Pleasant Borough Office of Emergency Management and Point Pleasant Boro CERT assisted with rehabilitation efforts.

Point Pleasant First Aid & Emergency Squad was requested to the scene to assist with BLS transport.
