POINT PLEASANT, NJ — The Point Pleasant Borough Council held its reorganization meeting on Jan. 1 and set the council's meeting schedule for 2024.
Councilwoman Valerie Coulson and Councilman Joseph Veni were sworn in to their seats on the council. Coulson is serving her second term on the council, while Veni was elected to his first term.
Antoinette DePaola was elected council president and Joseph Furmato Jr. was elected council vice president. Also serving on the council for 2024 are Charlene Archer and William Borowsky.

The council meets at 7 p.m. in the courtroom at the municipal building, 2233 Bridge Ave., on the following dates. The meeting agendas usually are posted online two days before the meeting.
