Toys, Clothes, + More Needed For Point Pleasant Community Watch's Holiday Drive
A donation could help local women and children in need this holiday season, as the Point Pleasant Community Watch hosts their annual drive.
POINT PLEASANT, NJ — With the holiday season here again, Point Pleasant Borough's Community Watch is collecting donations for its annual toy drive, and for local women and children escaping domestic violence.
The Community Watch program hopes to benefit lots of economically-disadvantaged children this year, with plenty of new toys. Also, the group is collecting items for women at Dottie's House, a local program that helps women and children build new lives after getting out of domestic violence situations.
Donations are needed no later than Dec. 17 and should be dropped off at the police department, 2233 Bridge Ave., Point Pleasant.

The Community Watch is seeking the following:
- New, unwrapped toys for children of varying ages
- New hats, gloves, scarves, and socks for women, boys and girls
- New kitchen supplies
- New bath, body wash, body lotion, hand wash, and creams
