Point Pleasant High School Graduation On Tap

POINT PLEASANT, NJ — Point Pleasant Borough High School will be holding graduation ceremonies Thursday evening for the Class of 2022.

The ceremony is set to begin at 6 p.m., which district officials said is a change from the original time made because of the weather forecast.

"Due to an abundance of caution with the changing weather, tonight's commencement ceremony will begin promptly at 6:00 p.m. in the stadium," the district's announcement said. "We want to make every effort to ensure that the entire school community can be present to celebrate the Class of 2022."

Graduating students are asked to arrive at 5 p.m., the notice said.

Motorists should expect heavier traffic in the area surrounding the high school this evening.
