Point Pleasant Beach's Jersey Mike's 'Day Of Giving' Runs Through Wednesday
100 percent of all the day's proceeds will be donated to charities, according to the company.

Point Pleasant Beach residents are no strangers to Jersey Mikes.
It was here, back in 1956, a man named Mike opened up his first Mike’s Subs business. Later on, a very young Peter Cancro bought the business, changed the name to Jersey Mike’s and began to expand. Today there are franchises in 38 states throughout the country, according to the company’s website.
And today, any customer that walks into any Jersey Mike’s store and buys lunch, dinner or a snack will have 100 percent of the cost of their food donated to local charities.
