Point Pleasant School Board Election: See Who's Running In 2022

POINT PLEASANT, NJ — Six people have filed petitions to run for two seats on the Point Pleasant Borough Board of Education in the November election.

The two seats on the seven-member unpaid volunteer board are currently held by Jacquelyn Wieland and Diane Peterson, neither of whom are seeking re-election. Board members serve three-year terms.

Michael Sullivan is running on the "Make Students 1st" slogan. John LoVerde is running on the slogan "Teach 3 R's" and Stephen Henry is running on the slogan "Point Pleasant Strong." Candidates William Munn, William J. Dikun and Heather Kertman did not submit slogans.
