Point Pleasant Schools 'Movie And A Mentor' Event Slated For Friday Night

Point Pleasant High School students from the “Be on Point” team will be on hand to serve as buddies for the district’s third annual “Movie and a Mentor” event at the high school on Friday night.

The event will run from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Elementary school students will be paired with team mentors who will play games and activities in the gymnasium, followed by a showing of the newly released film “Inside Out,” according to the district website.

Tickets are $12 and can be purchased before the event begins. Students will be assigned buddies and broken into small groups for the program. Teacher chaperones will be on hand during the night. Snacks can be purchased for $1 at the movie.

Parents can drop off and pickup their children at the cafeteria in the back of the high school.
