Point Pleasant Schools Closed Monday
The district moved to close schools Monday morning as streets and bus stops remain hazardous, officials said.
POINT PLEASANT, NJ — The Point Pleasant Borough Schools are closed Monday because of continuing hazards from Saturday's blizzard continues, the district announced.
"Due to hazardous road and bus stop conditions, all schools and offices will be closed today, Monday, January 31, 2022. At this time, Friday, February 18, 2022, will now be a full day of school," the district announced.
Officials had initially planned a delayed opening for Monday, but reconsidered it because of the road conditions.

The Ocean County Vocational-Technical Schools are closed on Monday.
