Point Pleasant Youth Football and Cheer Join in Pediatric Cancer Awareness Campaign!

Our PPYFC Pirate Crew will be joining NJAYF to support the campaign to increase public knowledge about the gold ribbon and what it signifies for childhood cancer awareness. NJAYF will be partnering with the Josh Cramer and the Chase Ryan Olsen Foundation, Josh who played for Jackson Youth Football and Cheerleading and Chase who had both a sister cheer and a brother play football for JYFC.
The PPYFC Board of Directors has purchased gold colored NJAYF decals that will be worn on the rear of the boys' football helmets during the month of September and gold ribbons to be worn by our cheerleaders and Jr. Demos. We are currently looking into an option for our Flag and Challenger Flag players and will be sure to let our parents know how they will become involved in the initiative.
NJAYF will be donating all proceeds to different childhood/pediatric cancer awareness organizations, foundations, "Oceans Of Love" (an organization that helps families financially and emotionally who have a child suffering from cancer) as well as the "Make A Wish Foundation."
For more information and how you can help to do more, please reach out to The Chase Ryan Olsen Foundation, thechaseryanolsenfoundation.net or pedinurse64@yahoo.com,http://www.curesearch.org/Chase-Olsen/ or Michele Cramer at fatmkc@hotmail.com
PPYFC Pirates Board of Directors thanks Dean Pinto of Jackson Youth Football and Cheer for inspiring towns within the Jersey Shore American Youth Football League to take on the initiative. Kids helping kids.....going beyond the grid iron and cheer mats to increase awareness!
