Power Outage, Road Closure In Point Pleasant Boro

A road was closed and a traffic light was out after a power outage in Point Pleasant Boro on Friday.

The traffic light at Bridge Avenue and Beaver Dam Road was out because of a power outage. The light was restored by 8:30 a.m.

Expect delays in the area, police said.

Doresett Dock Road will be closed to traffic from Beaver Dam Road to Bridge Avenue because of emergency utility work. Officers will be present.

Sunrise Avenue will also be closed south of Bridge Avenue to thru traffic from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. because of paving.
